Introducing Yazemeenah Rossi, the stunning 69-year-old who’s been crowned the “world’s most beautiful grandmother.” With her timeless beauty and graceful presence, she’s redefining what it means to age gracefull

I have so much admiration for those who prove that age is just a number.

Whether it’s climbing mountains, biking, or playing computer games, it fills my heart with joy when I see older individuals defying the conventional belief that age should limit what we can do.

Take this incredible woman, for example. Often referred to as “the world’s most beautiful grandmother,” her stunning appearance speaks for itself. But what makes her truly remarkable is that she’s a living example that beauty doesn’t have to be tied to youth.

Yazemeenah Rossi, born on December 21, 1955 in Corsica, France, has been on magazine covers from around the world. You might have even come across her in campaigns, appreciating her presence without necessarily pausing to consider her identity or age.

Over the years, she has also been working as an actress and appeared in several movies such as Timeless BeautyRelevator and The Grasslands.

At the outset of their modeling careers, aspiring models often find themselves compelled to work without compensation or for nominal fees, all in an effort to construct a substantial portfolio. However, Yazemeenah’s breakthrough came comparatively swiftly, defying the norm in the industry.

The French model and actress did not begin her career in her teens like most models do — she was already over 30 when she started, and she embarked on modeling at an age when models usually retire.

Unveiling the Secret of Her Timeless Beauty

Even in the early stages of her career, Yazemeenah was already proving that youth wasn’t a requirement to be a successful model—a truth she would continue to prove over the next three decades.

“I was a mother of two kids at 20, working from home—making clothes, knitting, and doing interior design for friends and private clients. I knew from a young age that I would never work in an office or stay in one place for my entire life. Even while raising my children, I was always active and independent,” she shared in 2020.

Despite her continued success in the modeling industry, Yazemeenah acknowledges that the modeling world still remains largely focused on youth.

“There was a time, a few years ago, when I thought things would gradually begin to change, and we’d start seeing more older models, but that hasn’t happened yet. I truly believe that both men and women share the same concerns about aging, though men might talk about it less. No one enjoys watching their skin succumb to gravity. But at the same time, growing older is a beautiful thing because you become stronger with each passing year,” Yazemeenah shared with Vice.

“Age is definitely a state of mind. If you stay connected to your inner child, you can recharge your energy and maintain that vitality. You need to have a playful, adventurous, and curious spirit,” Yazemeenah says, adding that there are no real “magic tricks” to maintaining a youthful appearance.

Despite her radiant looks, many people are convinced that she must have undergone cosmetic surgery. Some even claim it’s impossible to look so youthful and beautiful at almost 70 years old.

But Yazemeenah sets the record straight: “I haven’t had any cosmetic surgery. The idea of going under the knife when I am perfectly healthy doesn’t make much sense to me.”

Over the years, the stunning and timeless Yazemeenah Rossi has been celebrated for her ability to embrace and accept her appearance just as it is.

“I use oil on my skin, like rapeseed oil for my hair. I scrub my skin once a week with olive oil and fine sugar, and I eat an avocado a day, along with organic meat and fish,” she shared with The Potion Tree.

As she approaches her 70th birthday in December 2025, Yazemeenah shows no signs of slowing down. She told The Daily Mail, “I will model until the end of my life,” and added, “But it’s not just about modeling; it’s about witnessing. Witnessing beauty. Energy makes us alive…”

She believes older women should be proud of their bodies, as every stage of life brings its own unique beauty and significance.

In essence, being proud of your body is a powerful declaration of self-worth, a stand against ageism, and a celebration of the beauty that unfolds with time. It’s an affirmation of the journey one has taken and the strength they’ve gained, inspiring others to embrace their bodies with love and appreciation.
