Heartbreaking news has emerged from Lillooet, British Columbia, where devastating mudslide conditions have claimed the lives of at least four people. Search teams have recovered the bodies of three men from the disaster site, while one person remains missing as rescue efforts continue to face daunting challenges.
The grim discovery unfolded over several days: on Wednesday, one man was found deceased; two more bodies were recovered Thursday; and on Monday, the body of a woman was also discovered—marking the first confirmed fatality linked to the catastrophic flooding and landslides that have ravaged southern B.C. following relentless weekend rains.
B.C.
