Born in Cleveland, Ohio, in 1934, Cobbs led a remarkable life, beginning as a radar technician before launching his acting career at the age of 36. Over the decades, he graced screens big and small with more than 100 roles, including standout performances in Trading Places and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
