🚨 Tragic Accident Claims 15 Lives in Manitoba, Canada 🚨
In a devastating incident on Thursday, at least 15 lives were lost in a horrific crash in Manitoba, Canada. A bus carrying elderly passengers collided with a truck at an intersection near Carberry, located 170 kilometers west of Winnipeg.
The bus was on its way to a casino in Carberry when the tragic event occurred. Deputy Police Officer Rob Hill, the commander of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police in Manitoba, confirmed that “at least 15 individuals were pronounced dead as a result of the collision.”
Alongside the fatalities, ten other people have been hospitalized and are currently receiving medical care. Both drivers survived the crash, but authorities have not yet revealed who was at fault. Heart-wrenching images from the scene showed damaged wheelchair seats and walking frames, with tarpaulins covering the bodies of the victims.
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has shared his condolences, offering thoughts to the injured and the families affected by this tragedy. Manitoba Premier Heather Stefanson has also expressed her sympathy.
